This is an interesting project in West Yorkshire. The house is positioned on the steep side of a valley so managing the gradients was a challenge. The driveway was shaped in a large U and could easily accompany 10-15 cars end to end. We were given the task of designing the garden without the driveway and so unifying the entire space which was approximately 1300m². The clients are keen bird watchers so they wanted the garden to be wildlife friendly to attract birds.
